Protesting in the Vietnam War

It's really amazing how many people protested against the Vietnam War. People were divided into three categories, Liberals, Pacifists, and Left-wing political views. This all had started with the first march to Washington in December of 1964, where only 25,000 people showed up. Granted it is a large amount of people it is still not that many when you think about it. It was however the largest anti-war demonstration in American history which is very impressing. I think the Vietnam War was a big deal in it's own, but just to concentrate on the protesting factor is amazing. As the war continued more and more people turned against it. It seems as though it was the more Americans who found out what was going on behind closed doors was when people opened their eyes and turned against the war.
